Virginia Natural Gas launched its new Web site at www.VirginiaNaturalGas.com this week. The site highlights customer service information, gas safety education, business partner resources, a list of Qualified Gas Contractors and more.

Hank Linginfelter, president of Virginia Natural Gas, said, "Our first priority is our customers. We designed a dynamic Web site to provide them with useful and timely information, updated regularly with company news and pertinent customer service notices. Visitors also can learn about natural gas safety and where to call in the event of a gas leak."

The customer care portion of the Web site includes information on establishing and canceling service, paying bills, reading a gas meter, locating resources for energy assistance and saving on gas bills through weatherizing the home. The rates and tariff section provides current information on gas costs. Virginia Natural Gas history and community outreach efforts are included in the company information section.

An entire section of the Web site is devoted to business partnerships. The section outlines services available for gas system operators and underground construction and provides information about natural gas advantages for developers, builders, realtors and interior and landscape designers.

The section on gas products and appliances features up-to-date information on natural gas appliances and a list of Qualified Gas Contractors who can install, service and maintain the appliances.
